| Text: | Arnold Schoenberg 116 N. Rockingham Ave. Los Angeles 49, California. June 2, 1951 Mr. Walter Hinrichsen President C. F. Peters Corporation 881 Seventh Ave. New York City, N.Y. Dear Mr. Hinrichsen: Mitropoulos returned to me the score of my Five Orchestra Pieces and the old uncorrected parts therefrom. Now, I don't know whether you are already printing the new version, and whether or not you will need my parts for producing the new reduced ones, including all the transpositions. I think it is a mistake of Mr. Mitropoulos or his secretary. I am anxious to hear your opinion about the full orchestra version of my second Chamber symphony. I want to have this printed now, in order to protect the "text" of the music. With cordial greetings, Yours, RH | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
